Rajasthan Royals were the winners of the intital season of the Indian Premier League. They have reached the playoffs in three seasons and never met all requirements for the finals. Additionally, they were suspended amid the 2016 and 2017 crusades and came back to the challenge in 2018 and finished up in 4th place last year.

Jos buttler made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians and later bought by Rajasthan royals and he turned out to be the "Key Player" for the team. Being the hard-hitter, Jos Buttler became the second batsman in IPL history to score fifty or more in five matches in a row. In this edition of IPL, Steve Smith is back in squad after one year of ban which will aid the competitive performance of the team. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane is the most consistent player in IPL and under his captaincy he managed to pull Rajasthan Royals till play-offs. We cannot ignore Ben Stokes who is probably the world's best all-rounder at the moment, who managed more than 500 runs and 20 wickets in last two years of his IPL career.

The two pacers Jofra Archer and Jaydev Unadkat are the key bowlers to watch out this IPL. As far as domestic players are concerned Krishnappa Gowtham, Sanju Samson, Stuart Binny and others have contributed a lot in past editions of IPL and are expected to give same kind of support in this edition too.

In this 12th edition of Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals are playing their first match against Kings XI Punjab in Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on 25th March. So let's watch out if first winner of IPL trophy can achieve another one this time!
