Delhi Daredevils is back but with New LOGO and New Name, i.e; Delhi Capitals. Delhi Capitals formerly known as Delhi Daredevils has been a part of Indian Premier League since its first edition. In this 12th edition of Indian Premier League, Gautam Gambhir stepped down from captaincy and paved way to their new Captain i.e; Shreyas Iyer, the young talent who has done a great job with the bat and now has got the chance to prove his captaincy skills as well.

Even though Delhi Capitals failed to give a promising performance in last IPL editions, with new entrants in the team like Colin Ingram, Axar Patel, Keemo Paul and Ishant Sharma, Fans can expect a promising comeback from the team. We cannot forget about the wonderful knock played by Rishabh Pant last year who scored his maiden century against Sunrisers Hyderabad. So, We can consider him as the "Key Player" among the playing 11.

With some overseas players like Colin Ingram, Colin Munro, Chris Morris and Sandeep Lamichhane Delhi Capitals have bundled up some excellent talents to boost up their performance in this edition of IPL. After playing for SRH for 5 years, Shikhar Dhawan rejoins Delhi Capitals again as the key opener.

In this 12th edition of Indian Premier League, Delhi Capitals will play their first match against Mumbai Indians in Wankhede Stadium on 24th March. Delhi Daredevils have never won an IPL title, with the new name, Delhi Capitals and the young side, Will they manage to win the IPL 2019 trophy?
