Rajasthan Royals was the first team to win Indian Premier League in the inaugural season under the captaincy of Shane Warne. Ajinkya Rahane will be leading the Rajasthan Royals this year as Steve Smith stepped down after the ball-tampering incident against South Africa in the current Test Series and was also banned from this year's IPL. Jaydev Unadkat and Ben Stokes were the two expensive buys in this year's auction.

Along with Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals returned to 11th Edition of Indian Premier League after serving two years suspension on account of match-fixing and charges of corruption. After winning the title in 1st Edition, they consistently gave poor performance in the next four years and then they managed to get a place in play-offs in the year 2013 and 2015 respectively.

Rajasthan Royals fans will have their eyes on Ben Stokes - Their best All-Rounder. He scored his maiden IPL century in just 63 balls. This year, Rajasthan Royals is joined by Jofra Archer- an English Cricketer who showed his best performance in Bangladesh Premier League and Big Bash League with the ball. Team is equipped with young talent like, wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson who is seen as the next biggest player for India, Rahul Tripathi, BBL sensation D'Arcy Short etc.

Jaydev Unadkat is the added treat for Rajasthan Royals fans on bowling part who is the costliest bowler in the team. He also managed to take Hat-trick against Sunrisers Hyderabad with his best bowling figures 5/25 for Rising Pune Supergiants in the last year.

In the 11th Edition of Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals will play their first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 09th April in Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. Can the Rajasthan Royals make a successful comeback?
