Since the 1st edition of Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore has always emerged as one of the most powerful contenders but because of their hard luck, even after reaching the finals for the three times i.e. in 2009, 2011 and 2016 they have never been able to win any of the Indian Premier League finals. Royal Challengers Bangalore has always given the tough competition to all the teams in Indian Premier league. IPL 2017 turned out to be a horrendous season for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, as they ended up in the last place of the points table. Even though they have seen lots of ups and downs, they have never failed to entertain their fans.

In this 11th Season of Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore fans are going to witness some major changes in the team as RCB didn't retain their star batsman Chris Gayle, KL Rahul. Looking at the RCB squad, we can conclude that RCB has got decent batting line-up with the likes of VIrat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Quinton De Kock, Brendon McCullum, etc in IPL 2018. This year, Royal Challengers Bangalore is well equipped with all-rounders like Chris Woakes, Colin de Grandhomme and Moeen Ali. Corey Anderson was announced as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile who has been ruled out of IPL 2018 owing to an injury.

Bowling has always been a concern for RCB and this year, for a change, they have got the best bowling line up with the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Chris Woakes, Umesh Yadav, Washington Sundar, Mohammed Siraj who are certain to feature in most of their matches.

In this 11th Edition of Indan Premier League, Royal Challengers Bagalore is going to play it's first match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 08th April in Eden Gardens, Kolkata. It would be interesting to see whether Royal Challengers Bangalore can meet their fan's expectations this time!
